COVID-19 has been the greatest healthcare challenge our world has seen in recent times. Patients with pre-existing cardiovascular disease have a higher case fatality rate. Cardiac complications secondary to COVID-19 present new challenges for doctors and scientists. Dr Pathak presented a review of the cardiac complications of COVID-19 their implications on management from an Australian and international perspective.
