Correlation of Extent of Left Ventricular Endocardial Unipolar Low Voltage Zones with Ventricular Tachycardia in Non-ischemic Cardiomyopathy.

Dr Deep Raja, PhD fellow of Prof Rajeev Pathak, worked diligently to compile his study on the Correlation of Extent of Left Ventricular Endocardial Unipolar Low Voltage Zones with Ventricular Tachycardia in Non-ischemic Cardiomyopathy.

Alongside current fellows and research associates, the team’s aim was to study the correlation between bipolar and unipolar endocardial electrogram (EGM) characteristics, using left ventricular ejection fraction (Cardiac Function) and ventricular tachycardia (VT) in non-ischemic cardiomyopathy (NICM) patients.

The study concluded that in patients with NICM, the use of unipolar electroanatomical parameters have positive correlation to poor left ventricular ejection fraction and a strong association with VT.

Canberra Heart Rhythm would like to congratulate Dr. Deep Raja on this wonderful study.
