In a significant step towards enhancing cardiac care in the region, Canberra Heart Rhythm has expanded its wings by establishing a new clinic in Broulee, located on the picturesque South Coast of New South Wales.
Explaining the motivation behind this strategic move, A/Prof Pathak stated, “Our aim is to bring specialised cardiac care closer to home for our patients. With the establishment of this clinic, residents of the coastal area no longer need to undertake the journey to Canberra for diagnostics and consultations.”
Our clinic will offer full cardiac diagnostic investigations including;

- Signal Average Electrocardiogram (SAECG)
- Transthoracic echocardiogram
- Holter monitoring
- Exercise stress test
- Tilt table test
- Ambulatory Blood Pressure monitoring
- Cardiac device monitoring and programming
- Specialty clinics (Risk factor management and heart failure)
Prof Pathak is a highly specialised cardiac electrophysiologist, with extensive knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac implantable electronic devices. He specialises in cardiac ablation of ventricular tachycardia (VT), atrial fibrillation (AF), atrial flutter (AFL), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), AVNRT and ARVD. He also implants loop recorders, permanent pacemakers (PPM), implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) and cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices (CRT).
